Charge Drafting
Supports prosecutors in drafting indictments under Article 71 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
The Charge Drafting section is responsible for supporting assigned prosecutors in drafting indictments in accordance with Article 71 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
The goal of this section is to draft a plain, concise and definite statement containing sufficient detail to adequately inform the defendant of the nature of the charges against them, and to present it before a competent court. The section also advises the assigned prosecutor on the documents and information relating to the indictment. It is headed by a prosecutor, and its team comprises prosecutors skilled in drafting and reviewing legal documents, as well as paralegals and prosecution officers. The section is equipped with all the materials needed for drafting, reviewing and printing legal documents.
