Supervision of Criminal Records
Directs the Unified Criminal Records Office at Police Headquarters on criminal, civil and administrative records.
This section is responsible for the direct supervision and direction of the Unified Criminal Records Office at Police Headquarters, to ensure that records and information on the criminal, civil and administrative matters set out in Articles 261 and 262 of the Criminal Procedure Code are kept and managed properly.
The section is also responsible for monitoring the enforcement of the laws governing the use of criminal history information and records. It is headed by an experienced prosecutor and consists of prosecutors with special training and knowledge of the law’s direction, supervision and monitoring.
